"We Ask Everyone!" Business Card
Sometimes patients can feel “singled out” when they are asked about their substance use and mental health. The “We Ask Everyone” slogan was designed as a simple way to let patients know that screening is universal (done with everyone) and is a routine part of the medical visit.

When helping patients think about change, there are some core questions that clinicians may ask, where patients or clients respond on a scale from “0 – Not at All” to “10 – Very.” This PDF contains a double-sided visual readiness ruler, sample wording for those core questions, and, on the reverse, images of standard drinks and drinking limit recommendations.
